Clerks 3: Kevin Smith announces he will shoot the sequel next August

While his animated series on Masters of the Universe arrives in a few days on Netflix, Kevin Smith is already turned to his next film. The filmmaker announces that he has already planned the shooting of his next film and it will be the long-awaited sequel to his cult 1994 comedy: Clerks: The Model Employees . The third installment, Clerks 3 , will be filmed in New Jersey this, starting in August.

Kevin Smith has been talking about a Clerk III for almost a decade, following the second installment released in 2006. He wrote the screenplay and will direct the film, with all of the major cast reprising their original roles, including Jeff Anderson as Randal. , Brian O’Halloran as Dante, Jay Mewes as Jay, and therefore Kevin Smith as Silent Bob, as well as Rosario Dawson as Becky. 

The plot of Clerks 3 will center on Randal who, after suffering a massive heart attack, enlists Dante, Elisa, Jay and Silent Bob to make a film about his life, which takes place in the original grocery store that started it all in the first movie.
